I am honored to be endorsed by some of our county's leaders:

Our very beloved and widely respected Justice of the Peace, Jennifer Saunders, is retiring after many terms as our JP. There is a contested race to replace her. I've spent the last several months watching and getting to know the candidates for this race, and the best choice becomes clearer each day. 

Our precinct has grown accustomed, and maybe even spoiled by, very strong leadership and representation. Each of our precinct offices (JP, Constable, Commissioner) have been held (including my predecessor) by very knowledgeable, thorough, diligent, and sincere people who have offered service above self. We work very well as a team, and do our best to be the best at our jobs in our respective offices. We strive daily to go above and beyond our call of duty for our citizens, and we take great pride in that. We would like that to continue. 

Ashley Evans has proven to have the experience, knowledge, substance, and diligence for the position of JP. She has worked very hard during this campaign to show her competence and study of the office she's pursuing. She's shown to have an understanding of the position...and that's very important. Her presentations and answers have been thoughtful and shown attention to detail. 

As Constable of Precinct 4, I’ve had the honor and privilege of serving alongside retiring Justice of the Peace Jennifer Saunders for the past 17 years. As citizens we have all been blessed with a knowledgeable and experienced Judge who has selflessly served Comal County with integrity and a keen sense of fairness and justice. She truly is “The People’s Judge”.

Judge Saunders cannot ever be replaced; however, I believe there is a clear choice to step up and fill this vacant position.  

I have known Ashley Evans for 9 years. She is a Christian Conservative with strong family values and demonstrated Republican.  

However, what truly sets Ashley apart in my opinion is her professional experience. Ashley has worked within the county judicial branch for 16 years, serving the last 7 years as Court Administrator for Comal County Court at Law #2. She knows how the court system works. She knows how to manage a docket. She understands the law and most importantly the roles and responsibilities of a JP.
